When we connect with someone and they are willing to truly show themselves, the photograph becomes more than a photograph. It becomes a way for the world to connect with that person. It’s not about creating the perfect image. It’s about getting to that place where the mask comes off and the person in front of my camera allows themselves to be seen. Those are the magical moments—when something real is captured, something that lasts a lifetime.
